It goes something like this – “You can take the girl out of the country, but you can’t take the country out of the girl”.
Barb was born and raised in rural Vermont and New Hampshire. She relocated back here after living in a large metropolitan area for 30 years. Living in New Hampshire allows her to find the balance between country and city life. It has everything to offer in a rural setting, but you are still close to so many local attractions, cultural events, shopping, etc. It is an area that allows you to experience vacation living every day. For her the quality of life here is un-surpassed and she’s very excited about the opportunity to help you find the same thing.
Real Estate Experience
Barb obtained her Real Estate license in 2007 and worked for Colby Real Estate in New London, NH. Her main focus in Real Estate are the needs and desire of her clients and to help them achieve home ownership in a place that she is proud to call home.
Employment Background Prior to Real Estate
Barb’s background was in Supervision/Management for a large “high-tech” firm. There she had the opportunity to work with a diverse group of people from all over the country and the world. Her success came from acquiring good listening and negotiation skills. Barb offers those same skills in all of her client/agent relationships.
Community Involvement
Working with people and the community is important to Barb. She has volunteered with Meals on Wheels and other local charity functions. She currently serves as a member of the Springfield Zoning Board.

Other Interest
Barb loves spending time in the little farm house that she recently purchased. She enjoys a whole variety of summer and winter activities, from gardening, to kayaking, hiking, x-country and alpine skiing, to name a few. You can also throw in the thrill of being a grandmother.
